According to preliminary numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employers in the Bayou City boosted payrolls for the eighth consecutive month, adding nearly 15,000 jobs in September. Houston employment levels are now 93,400 jobs above its pre-pandemic employment base, an increase of 2.9%.
