Energy firm approved for largest permit of its kind to fuel AI data center in West Texas

A California-based energy firm got the go-ahead from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality for gas-fired power generation in West Texas' Permian Basin that the company said is the largest permit of its kind to be issued in the United States.
