Sale of Former Burger King Headquarters Closes

Grouper Financial purchased the former Burger King World headquarters from New Cutler Bay Corp. The complex sold for $18.5 million. The sale price was approximately $6.5 million below the most recent asking price. The facility is at 17777 Old Cutler Road in Miami and sits on an 80-acre site. The three-building complex will be renamed Village of Palmetto Bay. The first building consists of 220,000 square feet, the second 51,000 square feet and the third 34,000 square feet. Hank Klein and Keith O'Donnell of Codina Realty Services represented New Cutler Bay Corp. The owners have retained Abood Wood-Fay Real Estate to handle leasing at the property.
