According to preliminary numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, New Orleans added nearly 23,000 jobs in 2022 – more than four times the annual average of 5,700 added between 2010 and 2019, prior to the pandemic. On a monthly basis, the Crescent City added 4,100 jobs just in December.
