First quarter industrial transaction volume in Los Angeles on a dollar basis — just over $1 billion — was below levels seen during the previous two quarters, as well as the same quarter a year ago. But this is likely more the result of less availability of properties for sale versus waning investor demand, given the strong pricing rent industrial sales have realized.
