Elm Renews, Expands

Occupancy in Brentwood Facility Totals 560,000 SF

Elm Global Logistics signed a 560,000-square-foot deal at 50 Emjay Blvd. in Brentwood, NY. The transaction is comprised of a 400,000-square-foot renewal and a 160,000-square-foot expansion. Elm is a warehousing company that assists companies with storage, physical distribution and pick/pack requirements of general merchandise. The company plans to consolidate a portion of its Hauppauge operations to the newly acquired space by Sept. 1. Richard Cohen, president of Hauppauge-based Ashlind Properties represented Elm Global and the facility's owner, Cranford, NJ-based REIT, Mack-Cali Realty Corp.
