REIT Signs A 20,103 Sublease

Acadia Realty Trust signed a 20,103 square foot sublease at 1311 Mamaroneck Ave. in White Plains, NY. The 312,860 square-foot office building is nestled on a 27-acre parcel. Features of the three-story building include a full service corporate cafeteria, a health club, and a retention pond. Acadia relocated its headquarters from a 12,000 square foot space within the Soundview Marketplace at 20 Soundview Dr in Long Island, NY. The firm's sublease will expire in 2010. Acadia Realty Trust is a retail-centered real estate investment trust. David Block and David Itzkowitz of Insignia ESG represented Acadia Realty. Cushman & Wakefield's Glenn Walsh and Larry Ruggieri represented the sublessor, Wachovia Bank.
