Colliers is bringing on a former regional director from Beco Management to grow its leasing team in Maryland.

Melissa Parrish joined the brokerage as an associate vice president. In her new role, she will work closely with a team that includes Thomas Gentner, Brian Siegel, Brian Watts and Jason Sullivan.

Parrish "brings deep experience in leasing across a number of property types,” Matt Gannon, Colliers' executive managing director for the Washington region and the firm's head of agency leasing for the U.S., said in a statement. "Her leadership in successfully representing both landlords and tenants makes her a perfect choice to grow our Maryland team."

Parrish brings over a decade of experience in leasing negotiations. In her career, she has closed over 500 deals totaling more than 1.5 million square feet, Colliers said in its release announcing the hire.

She joins the firm after 12 years with Beco Management where she most recently served as regional director of leasing.

In 2023, she was recognized twice with CoStar Power broker awards for completing two of the largest office deals in the Baltimore market in their respective quarters: one for representing Beco in a nearly 15,000-square-foot lease with accounting firm YHB at Beco Towers I in Owings Mills and one for a 34,000-square-foot lease with RadNet at Beco Towers II.
