PF Global Real Estate Acquires 420,000 SF Office Building

PF Global Real Estate LLC, an investment fund sponsored by the Prudential Insurance Co. and Prudential Investment Management, Inc., acquired the newly built world headquarters of Quaker Oats Co. in Chicago. Completed in August 2002, the 18-story 420,000-square-foot Class-A office building at 555 West Monroe is the first major asset sale by Strategic Partners LP, an investment fund sponsored by CB Richard Ellis Investors. The building was developed by Chicago-based Fifield Realty Co. and is 97 percent leased by Quaker Oats Co., a division of PepsiCo. Tony Smaniotto and Mike Vesper of the Chicago office of CB Richard Ellis handled the sale.
