Arista Records Signs Sublease

Music Label Takes 56,145 SF from Random House

Arista Records, a prominent music label, sublet 56,145 square feet of space on three full floors at 888 Seventh Ave. for its new Manhattan corporate headquarters. Arista, currently residing at 6 West 57th St., expects to move to during the second quarter of 2003. Donald DiRenzo Sr. and Emmett Noonan of Cushman & Wakefield represented the sublessor, Random House, in the negotiations. Mark Furst and Paul Mas of Colliers ABR Inc. represented Arista in the 11-year transaction. The record company represents artists such as Carlos Santana, Usher, Pink, Avril Lavigne, Whitney Houston, TLC, Kenny G. and Toni Braxton.
