Architecture/Engineering Firm Leases on Chestnut

The Ballinger Co., an architecture/engineering firm, will relocate its headquarters to 833 Chestnut St. East in Center City Philadelphia. The firm will occupy more than 40,000 square feet of office space on the building's top floor. 833 Chestnut is a 14-story, 615,724-square-foot, Class B facility that underwent major renovations in 2000. It will relocate from its current location at 2005 Market St. this fall. The long-term lease carried an aggregate value of more than $8 million. George Cauffman and Joe Fox of CB Richard Ellis brokered on behalf of the building owner, Property Asset Management Inc. Wayne Fisher and Ben Reiff of Grubb and Ellis advised Ballinger.
