Stonebridge Hotel Sells for $5M

Lakewood's 170-Room Hotel Purchased

The Stonebridge Hotel, at 137 Union Blvd. in Lakewood, CO, was purchased for $5 million, or about $29,400 per room. The six-story, 170-room building was constructed in 1984 and features such amenities as a pool, spa, gym, recreation room, and meeting space. The buyer, Lakewood Lodging LLC, plans to invest between $1.5 million and $2 million in interior and exterior renovations over the next six months, after which it will rename the facility. Dipan Patel of Insignia Hotel Partners represented the buyer. Lynn and Craig Hoover of Hoover Lodging Realty represented the seller, Banc of America Commercial Finance.
