Bank Expands at 119/I-35 Technology Park Building 1

Kansas City-based Commerce Bank leased another 10,131 square feet of space at 17310-17330 West 119th St. in Olathe, KS. The expansion will bring Commerce Bank's total occupancy in this building to 26,426 square feet. The banking company signed a five-year lease at the end of July and is scheduled to move in the first week of October 2002. Commerce has planned to set up a disaster recovery, computer storage, and check sorting site in response to the September 11th tragedy. Gib Kerr of Tower Properties Co. represented Commerce Bank in the transaction. Executive Vice President Steven Karbank represented the owner, B.A. Karbank & Co., in-house.
