$8.85 Million Shopping Center Sold In Santa Clarita

Sierra Crest Center in Santa Clarita, CA was purchased for $8.85 million or $123.51 per square foot. The seller was Beverly Hills-based Westminster Capital. The buyer was Zimmerman Commercial Partners, a Los Angeles-based investment partnership. The Sierra Crest Center is located at 27125 Sierra Highway in Santa Clarita, the highest growth market in North Los Angeles County. The strip center was developed in 1991 and encompasses 71,652 rentable square feet on a 4.35-acre parcel. The center’s tenant roster includes Taco Bell, State Farm Insurance, Firestone Tires, Church on the Rock, Primerica Financial, SNJ Liquor and EZ Lube. At the time of the sale, the property was 90% occupied. John Erthein and Gregory Mills, in the San Diego and Encino offices, respectively, of Marcus & Millichap, had the exclusive listing to market the property.
