CPCHEM Announces Corporate Headquarters Relocation

Chevron Phillips Chemical Co. LP plans to relocate its headquarters from downtown Houston to 10001 Six Pines Drive in The Woodlands, TX. Construction of the new, eight-story headquarters began with a groundbreaking event May 2001. CPChem employees will occupy the building on July 29, 2002. CPChem's new corporate headquarters contains 200,000 square feet of office space on eight floors with a four-story parking garage. The building also houses a cafeteria and an employee fitness center. Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LLC, parent company of CPChem, is one of the world's top producers of olefins and polyolefins and is a leading supplier of aromatics, alpha olefins, styrenics and specialty chemicals. The company has total assets of approximately $6 billion and is owned equally by Chevron Texaco Corp. and Phillips Petroleum Co.
