Urban Growth Property Trust Goes Nuts

Urban Growth Property Trust, a subsidiary of InterPark Holdings and Security Capital Group, finalized a deal for 902-906 Chestnut St. securing its ownership of one of Philadelphia’s prime pieces of commercial real estate. The 15,180-square-foot building, known to its neighbors as the I. Goldberg Army-Navy Surplus Store, settled for an undisclosed sum. It represents the last of three buildings fronting Chestnut Street to be acquired by the Trust. This transaction included the $600,000 acquisition of a 3,456-square-foot parcel of land at 909 Sansom St.
