Despite theme parks still operating at limited capacity, leisure occupancy in the Orlando hotel market reached pre-pandemic levels every month between March and July. However, weakness in the convention and conference segment has continued to have a significant impact on overall occupancy since group rooms historically accounted for over one-third of all room demand in the market.
