Dallas entered 2026 with one of the largest hotel construction pipelines in the United States, driven primarily by rapid growth in the northern suburbs. Developers completed 2,114 rooms across the metro in 2025, while 4,244 rooms are under construction and scheduled to open over the next few years. The elevated pace underscores Dallas’ status as one of the country’s most active hotel development markets, supported by strong population inflows, expanding employment clusters and a growing roster of corporate relocations.
