Company Opens New Manufacturing Facility in Hauppauge

Pall Corporation, a world leader in filtration technologies and solutions, announced the opening of its new Life Sciences filter manufacturing facility at 225 Marcus Blvd. in Hauppauge, Long Island. The 75,000-square-foot facility will manufacture sophisticated filtration systems for biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and blood banking. The company's production capacity is projected to double with more than 100 employees, an increase in staff of nearly 50 percent. The official opening of the Hauppauge facility is scheduled for April 16th at the plant. The guest list includes Nobel Laureate James D. Watson, Ph.D., President of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratories, who discovered the structure of DNA, New York's Lt. Governor, Mary Donahue, Daniel Vellom, Ph.D., Associate Director of Purification Development at Acambis Inc, and other government officials.
