Accounting Firm Finds New Home

Chicago-based Grant Thornton LLP signed a lease for 67,794 square feet of office space at 175 West Jackson Blvd. in downtown Chicago. Grant Thornton signed a long-term lease to occupy the building's entire 20th floor, which will accommodate a relocation of the firm's headquarters and Chicago practice operations, currently at 130 E. Randolph St. in Chicago. Grant Thornton will take occupancy of the space in November 2002. Peter Block, J. Frank Franzese, and John McIlwain of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant. Building ownership, 175 W. Jackson LP, was represented internally by Menahem Deitcher. Grant Thornton LLP is a global accounting, tax, and management consulting firm that serves the needs of middle-market companies.
