Kennedy-Wilson Arranges Sale of Springfield Building

The majority interest in One Financial Plaza, a 340,000-square-foot office building on Main Street in the heart of Springfield, MA, sold. The ownership was purchased by affiliates of Merchant Equity Group and the Arnold Penner family of New York. Built in 1983, One Financial Plaza is 95% leased to national and local tenants. Unicare, a subsidiary of Wellpoint, occupies over 100,000 square feet. Other tenants include Disability Management Services, Prudential Securities, First Union Securities, Senator John Kerry and a number of well-respected professional firms. Kennedy-Wilson, Inc. marketed and sold the majority interest.
