Previously known as the T-Rex Technology Center, the new T-Rex Corporate Center on T-Rex Ave. in Boca Raton is looking to expand its tenant base. The once successful dot.com and technology industries that emerged in the 1990's have now been virtually eliminated, which has left the owners of high-tech properties looking in other directions to market their space. Now, T-Rex is looking to get away from the narrowly defined technology reputation and look towards leasing to more traditional corporate office space users. Jeff Kelly, Michael Erickson and Steve O'Hara of CB Richard Ellis have been awarded the marketing responsibilities for the project, which is one of the largest third party leasing assignments in the history of South Florida. They are very excited about their role in repositioning T-Rex Corporate Center and look forward to successfully completing is transformation into a true corporate center. With more than 1.8 million square feet on 131 acres, T-Rex Corporate Center will be able to accommodate almost any business looking for space. The buildings ring a 3.5-acre lake and offer retail shops, banking, service/convenience stores, a conference facility that can handle 250 people and offer a cafeteria with seating for 1,200. Current tenants include Applied Card Systems, DataBase Technologies, Siemens and the United States Postal Service.
