Weichert Commercial Realtors of Cherry Hill, NJ brokered both sides of a $2.625 million portfolio sale in Southampton, NJ. The transaction included two buildings totaling 55,100 square feet of space along with industrial land in excess of 8 acres. Rail Road Construction Co. (RRC) of Paterson, NJ is pleased with the purchase that came along just in time as sellers, Joginder and Parkash Singh, sought retirement and RCC sought expansion. RCC was founded in 1926 when Joseph Daloisio, Sr. started repairing railroad tracks. 75 years later, the family maintains steady growth for the company, which now specializes in bridges, buildings, electric, roads, transit, utilities, and design. RCC will soon move into the 53,000-square-foot former home of Omni Metal Fabricators, a building that is positioned on 8.38 acres and comprised of 48,000 square feet of manufacturing/warehouse space with a 5,000-square-foot office & engineering area. Already under construction on the site is a 22,000-square-foot building that is nearly equal in size to an existing industrial building that rests on 1.99 acres. An additional 6.42 acres of industrial land will allow for further expansion and future RCC projects. With nearly 600 feet of frontage, the site is located at Main State Highway and Route 206. Eve T. Phillippi and Jack Peterson were the listing agents while Phillippi also acted as the selling agent.
