Vacancy rises in almost every size segment of the New Haven industrial market

Vacancy increase is greatest among properties spanning 250,000-500,000 square feet

Like many markets across the United States, the industrial market in New Haven, Connecticut, continues to weaken. The first half of 2025 opened with more than 650,000 square feet of negative net absorption — the difference between move-ins and move-outs — and absorption has been negative for eight of the preceding 10 quarters.
