Unemployment rate edges down in San Diego

Office-using sectors shed more jobs

San Diego’s unemployment rate fell to 4.2% in March, down from 4.4% in February, according to the latest jobs report released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. That was only 10 basis points above last March’s rate, and it was over 100 basis points below California’s statewide rate for March.
