TK Maxx appoints advisers for London stores hunt

Duo appointed to seek up to 30,000-square-foot stores across capital

TK Maxx, the discount fashion and homesware retailer with 350 UK stores, has appointed advisers for a hunt for more stores across London.

The group has appointed Brasier Freeth and KLM Real Estate to seek stores across central and outer London of between 10,000 and 30,000 square feet . It will take two floor stores and is looking for 10-year leases.

According to a just-launched teaser its preferred central London locations are: the West End, City, Bloomsbury, Borough, Canary Wharf, Farringdon, Fulham, Haymarket, High Holborn, King’s Cross, Kings Road, Marylebone, Midtown, Old Street, Queensway, Regent Street, Spitalfields, Vauxhall, Victoria, Warren Street/Tottenham Court Road and Waterloo.

Its preferred outer London locations are: Acton, Banstead, Barking, Battersea, Beckenham, Borehamwood, Catford, Chingford, Chiswick, Colindale, Cricklewood, Crouch End, Croydon, Crystal Palace, Dalston, Dulwich, Earls Court, East Ham, Edgware Road, Edmonton, Finchley, Finsbury Park, Forest Gate, Hampstead, Holloway, Hornchurch, Islington, Mile End, Muswell Hill, New Malden, North Finchley, Streatham, Surrey Quays, Sydenham, Upminster and Walton on Thames.

TK Maxx was founded in 1994 in the UK and is headquartered on Clarendon Road in Watford. It is owned by American retailer TJ Maxx.
