Cushman & Wakefield hired Nick Hilton as executive managing director and Brendan McBride as executive director. Hilton and McBride are based in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and are part of a 12-person global portfolio service team, the real estate services firm said. Both have more than 20 years of experience.
Hilton joined Cushman from CBRE after previously serving in executive roles at Mack-Cali Realty Corp., where he oversaw leasing across a national portfolio. McBride joined from JLL and has advised clients on headquarters siting, relocations, sale-leasebacks and related transactions in multiple property categories. Cushman said its global portfolio team also recently hired Ryan Haggerty and Brody Strickland as transaction managers and Adriana Balidermaj as a brokerage specialist.
CBRE said it named managing director Emily White as regional property management leader for Georgia and Florida, expanding her duties beyond Atlanta. White has more than 20 years of property management experience, joining CBRE last year as market leader for Atlanta. She previously served as an executive vice president at JLL, where she led a team that managed a large Southeast industrial portfolio. White held earlier roles at America’s Capital Partners, Cousins Properties and Tishman Speyer.
CBRE said it also recently appointed other U.S. regional property management leaders, including Simon Gordon in the Pacific Northwest; Steve Thornton for Indiana, Michigan and Ohio; Jeff Venable in the Midwest; and Sabrina Jones in the Southeast.
Office property investment firm Callahan Capital Partners hired Christine Torres as senior vice president of leasing and markets. The Chicago-based company said Torres will oversee leasing efforts across its office portfolio that includes properties in Chicago and San Francisco. She will also lead market coverage across 14 regions that the firm tracks nationally. Torres previously worked in the retail division of Brookfield Properties, handling office leasing in its national mall portfolio.
Real estate services firm Jackson Cross Partners appointed Hee Jong Kwon, Jason Blank and Zachary Forrest as new partners on the company’s leadership team. The King of Prussia, Pennsylvania-based firm said Kwon and Forrest will expand their prior roles by heading its advisory services group, including lease administration and data management.
Blank will handle added duties in its transaction services group that includes its corporate real estate strategies and brokerage divisions. Kwan has been with the company for 20 years, Forrest joined in 2017 and Blank joined in 2008.
Retail brokerage Progressive Real Estate Partners promoted Roxanne Klein to senior vice president and Lance Mordachini to vice president. Klein previously served as vice president and Mordachini was a senior associate. The brokers handle retail property sales, leasing and investment in Southern California’s Inland Empire, San Gabriel Valley and Orange County, the Rancho Cucamonga, California-based company said.
Patterson Real Estate Advisory Group hired Caroline Lyles as an analyst, based at its Atlanta headquarters. The company said Lyles will work with deal teams handling underwriting and related investment matters. She joined Patterson from Truist Securities’ healthcare investment banking group, where she worked as an analyst.
Irvine, California-based architecture and design firm KTGY named William Bate as its new CEO. He is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. The company said Bate succeeds longtime CEO Tricia Esser, who is retiring from that role but will remain with KTGY as an advisor and board member.
Esser has been with the firm since its 1991 founding and took the helm as CEO in 2006. Bate joins KTGY from Boston Consulting Group, where he served as managing director and partner and led its North America real estate and cities practice.
Kaila Sergent joined global law firm Latham & Watkins as a partner in its Los Angeles office. The firm said Sergent serves in its real estate practice and is a member of its interdisciplinary data center team. Her commercial real estate experience includes extensive work in data center transactions, including leasing, sales and development. Sergent joined Latham & Watkins from law firm DLA Piper.
