Mathieu Hellec

Appointed general manager at the Kisawa Sanctuary on the Indian Ocean island of Benguerra in Mozambique. The resort has 11 one-, two- and three-room bungalows and is adjacent to a protected marine sanctuary. Hellec arrives from the same role at the Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas in the Seychelles, another Indian Ocean isle.

Anne Lomas

Promoted at the 173-room London Edition from operational lead to hotel manager. She joined the hotel in 2021 as its director of food and beverage.

Heli Mende and Katriina Moksi

Appointed commercial director and general manager, respectively, at the 117-room Hotel Maria, which is due to open in the Finnish capital Helsinki in December. Mende has arrived from the New York City office of trade association Business Finland. Moksi previously was co-owner, vice president and director of brand and business development at Levin Iglut Golden Crown, a hotel comprising igloo-style glass hotel pods in Levi, Finland, approximately 100 miles north of the Arctic Circle.

Konstantinos Michail

Appointed chief commercial officer, Middle East and Africa, at Millennium Hotels & Resorts. He arrives from a post as advisor to the director general of the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture & Tourism.

Adrian Messerli

Promoted to president of hotel operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. He started at Canadian firm in 2005 as fine dining manager and most recently was regional vice president and general manager Four Seasons Hotel Madrid.

Louisa Green

Appointed managing director of white-label hotel management firm RBH Hospitality Management, which has a portfolio of 56 United Kingdom hotels. Starting her new role in January 2024, she has been promoted from her role of operational director, one of six roles at the Glasgow- and London- based company.

Hani Abulafi

Promoted to his first general manager position, at the 203-room Four Seasons Hotel Tunis, following more than a decade and a half at Four Seasons’ properties in Jordan and the United Arab Emirates.

Olivier Harnisch

Appointed chairman of the advisory board of Saudi Arabia hotel development firm Afyaa Holding. Harnisch’s former roles have included CEO of Dubai-based Emaar Hospitalitiy and head of hospitality for Saudi sovereign wealth fund Public Investment Fund.

Stuart Dickie

Appointed chief financial officer at Geneva, Switzerland-based hotel firm Kempinski Hotels and will have a seat on the company’s management board. Previously, he has been in financial roles at both of had financial roles at both Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

Quinten Barker

Joined Whitbread PLC’s property degree apprenticeship. The firm is the parent company of Premier Inn, the U.K.’s largest hotel company by property number.

Patrick Saade

Promoted to head of global hotels desk at JLL’s hotels and hospitality division. He has been at the business advisory for 13 years.

Mariano Tribelhorn

Hired as director of sales and marketing at the 87-room Hassler Roma in the Italian capital and which opened in 1893. He arrives from a role of director of business development at hotel Alpina Gstaad, Switzerland.
