The coronavirus outbreak hit scores of commercial property landlords across the United States as tenants emptied their offices and new leasing activity slowed. The owner of 2002 Summit, an office tower in the affluent Atlanta suburb of Brookhaven, Georgia, used the downtime to renovate the building and create an outdoor area designed for a world trying to look past the pandemic.
