Japanese automaker Mitsubishi Motors said it plans to move its North American headquarters from Cypress, California, in Orange County to Franklin, Tennessee, about 20 miles south of Nashville, becoming the latest major business to pull staff from the Golden State to parts of the country with lower taxes.
