Office landlord leasing specialist Leah Masson has joined Cushman & Wakefield’s Seattle office as a senior director.
Masson, who has represented many of the region’s major property owners, comes from CBRE, where she began her career in 2015 and recently left as vice president with the firm’s agency leasing team in Seattle.
In addition to her brokerage work, Masson will collaborate with Andrew Shultz and Brandon Burmeister, two of Cushman & Wakefield’s top Puget Sound agency leasing brokers who represent many high-profile office projects in the Seattle and Eastside markets, Cushman said in a statement.
The firm’s growing asset services team led by Chris Battles will partner with the "powerhouse landlord rep team" of Masson, Burmeister and Shultz, according to the statement.
“Leah’s extensive market knowledge, strong work ethic, fresh perspective to the office sector and keen sense in understanding client needs have helped her build reputable relationships throughout the business community and a great reputation as a broker,” Alison Beddard, Cushman & Wakefield’s managing principal for Washington and Oregon, said in the statement.
Masson, who has a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Boise State University, joins a Cushman team in the region that has grown by double digits in the past few years, Beddard added.
The company has recruited top talent in brokerage, commercial and residential asset services, valuation and advisory, project and development services, capital markets and other services, Beddard said.
"As a brokerage firm, Cushman & Wakefield has become a disruptor in the Puget Sound region, which really excites me," Masson said in the statement. "I look forward to collaborating with my new team led by Alison, who, as a woman influencer and mentor in real estate, I am also eager to learn more closely from her own path and success in the industry.”
