Eastdil Secured’s sale of the Principal Hotel portfolio and Devonshire Square estate put it clear at the top of the Q2 2018 sales table, with a final figure of £2.2bn. Savills bounced back strongly to top the acquisitions table, acting on £875m worth of deals including the £180m purchase of Belstaff House. JLL was second on both the vendor and purchaser sides, helped by its disposal of 25 Ropemaker Street on behalf of AXA and its representation of LaSalle in the acquisition of the Sovereign portfolio.
