San Diego Industrial Leasing Activity Slides to 15-Year Low

Deals Greater Than 50,000 Square Feet Dry Up

New leasing activity in San Diego’s industrial market, which includes flex space, fell to its lowest level in 15 years during the third quarter, with tenants signing fewer than 200 leases totaling 1.5 million square feet. One of the primary culprits behind the drop in new leasing volume has been moderation at the top of the market, particularly for deals greater than 50,000 square feet.
