Quebec’s municipal election period is underway, with voting scheduled for Nov. 2. Montrealers will get a chance to vote for a new administration and a new mayor, as incumbent Mayor Valérie Plante has decided not to seek another term in what's arguably one of the most important elections for the city this century.
