At a time when the first half of the D-FW namesake has seen relatively stagnant growth, Fort Worth has been on a strong upward trajectory over the last several years. The city came incredibly close to hitting the fabled million-resident milestone last year, with many experts anticipating that the next data release would be the one to see this fabled number reached. That time has come, as the latest release from the U.S. Census Bureau shows the 2024 population hitting 1,008,100 total residents.
