Sacramento Unemployment Rate Hits Lowest Level Since 2015

No Job Losses Were Reported in Any Employment Sector Over the Past Month, a Historic First for the Region

With cities across the country reporting rising employment, California's capital city is seeing its own fair share, as employment increased by nearly 32,000 jobs over the past year and 12,600 in October alone. This activity pushed the unemployment rate down to 5.5%, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, comparable to levels seen at the end of 2015.
