Data centre approval in Leeds – hyper-speed ahead?

Leeds City Council recently issued a resolution to grant hybrid planning permission for a data centre campus including associated power and water infrastructure. The development will comprise over 118,000 square metres spread over three data centre buildings – as such it would be classed as a hyperscale data centre due to its size.
