The Sacramento region’s unemployment rate dipped from 5.6% in July to 5.4% in August, according to the latest jobs report released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The August rate was above the 5.1% estimate from 12 months ago and below California’s statewide rate of 5.8%.
