Wolf Commercial Real Estate spent the weeks before Thanksgiving collecting food and grocery store gifts cards to give to a local charity.

The Marlton, New Jersey-based brokerage also known as WCRE delivered more than 250 bags of food and $3,200 in gift cards and donations to Samost Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Southern New Jersey as part of the ninth annual WCRE Thanksgiving Food Drive. Samost Jewish Family & Children’s Service provides affordable and accessible social services to Jewish families and other residents of the community in need to support.

“Over the past nine years, WCRE has become an integral charitable partner in our efforts and this year, due to the pandemic and recent recession, our needs have grown exponentially,” Raechel Hammer, executive director of Samost Jewish Family & Children’s Services, said in a statement. “Partners like WCRE are crucial to us!”

WCRE said more than 40 area businesses contributed to its Thanksgiving food drive.

The effort is part of the company’s community commitment program. As part of the program, WCRE also donates a portion of proceeds from real estate transactions to local charities.
