German chemical company selects South Carolina site for new manufacturing plant

Alzchem Group AG, a global supplier of specialty chemicals and chemical ingredients, announced it will build a new nitroguanidine production facility at Bushy Park in Berkeley County, South Carolina. The $150 million project is expected to begin construction in 2027, with operations scheduled to start in 2029.
