Hillingdon council buys serviced apartments for homeless shelter

Even Group, a private property investment company, has sold Berkeley Park Serviced Apartments, a 21,000 sq ft development by Heathrow airport, to Hillingdon Borough Council for £9.25m.

The complex, which comprises of 50 suites situated around a private courtyard area, is situated approximately 0.2 miles from London Heathrow Airport’s perimeter and approximately 14 miles from central London. The council bought the development, subject to a planning consent for homeless shelter use (Sui Generis use), and intend on partially converting it internally to better suit its needs.
