JPMorgan Asset Management is set to buy global reinsurer SCOR's former offices on Lime Street in the City of London after its relocation to Stanhope and Mitsubishi Estates’ 8 Bishopsgate, EC2.
SCOR appointed CBRE to sell its interest in the eight-storey Rolfe Judd-designed office at 10 Lime Street, EC3, which totals 54,611 square foot.
JPMorgan is understood to paying close to the guide price of £30 million, and to be planning a significant repurposing.
The 43,408 square feet of offices, spread across the building’s first to seventh floors, is now vacant, while the retail space is let to five tenants with an average unexpired lease term of 5.8 years. The retail accommodation brings in £374,600 annually.
CBRE declined to comment.
