Colliers broker Ally Holley of Austin, Texas, has been recognized by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for her work raising money for blood cancer research.
The South Central Texas region of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, or LLS, named Holley its “Visionary of the Year” for ranking as the top fundraiser in her area. LLS is a nonprofit group that contributes to research and leads education and advocacy efforts related to blood cancer.
"Together, we raised $150,259 to support LLS’s mission to cure blood cancers and improve the lives of patients and families," she said in a LinkedIn post. "While my name was the one that got called, this title truly belongs to every single person who stood alongside me during this campaign."
Members of the commercial real estate community have been involved in various forms of charity work in recent months, from gathering donations to aid those impacted by California wildfires to preparing meals for those in need. Over the years, other brokers across the country have raised money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, too, as CoStar News reported.
