Aberdeen reduces dilution adjustment on UK property funds

Aberdeen Asset Management has today reduced the dilution adjustment on the properties within its UK property funds portfolio resulting in a 7.5% uplift on the funds’ dealing price and reflecting "reduced levels of redemptions in the funds and the rebuilding of its cash levels" following notably prompt sales of some assets.

In what will be a reassuring update for the UK CRE market Aberdeen said: "The post-referendum environment now seems to be settling down with thoughts of reducing property holdings being balanced by the fundamental long-term attractions of the asset class.”
