Dorian Wragg, a partner at chartered surveyors Bruton Knowles and head of its national commercial and professional services faculty, has attained Fellowship of the Royal Geographical Society in recognition of his "extensive use of geographical expertise in professional practice".

Wragg, who is based at Bruton Knowles’ central Gloucester hub, leads teams providing multiple services including property management, commercial agency, investment, and lease advisory.

His portfolio mainly consists of managing complex, multi-sector property projects which span inner-city redevelopment, sustainable housing delivery, transport and mobility strategy.

Wragg is also involved in the integration of smart and renewable technologies, "all of which are grounded in spatial analysis, land use economics and resource management," his employer said.

A chartered surveyor since 1999 and a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since last year, Wragg is a registered property receiver and fellow of the Non-Administrative Receivers Association.

His inclusion to the RGS "acknowledges a body of work that consistently integrates geography with the commercial realities of urban development, estate management and environmental planning".

In addition to his client work, Dorian serves on multiple strategic boards and advisory groups, including the Gloucestershire First LEP, the Cheltenham Economic and Levelling Up Advisory Board, and the Joint Core Strategy Stakeholder Group.

"His long-standing involvement has helped shape local responses to economic recovery, town centre viability, and sustainable growth," Bruton Knowles added.

He said in a statement: "I’m incredibly proud to have been offered Fellowship status for the Royal Geographical Society.

"Geography is at the core of everything I do in my professional life from strategic land use and regeneration to energy planning and resource management. To be recognised by such a respected institution is very fulfilling."
