Adam Palmer has joined CBRE as the firm’s executive vice president in Naples, Florida, as real estate brokerages have continued to shuffle their teams with new hires over the past few months.

Palmer enters his role with over 20 years of real estate industry experience. As a member of CBRE, he will provide sales and leasing services to investors and occupier clients across Southwest Florida. Palmer is among the 1% of industry professionals with both CCIM and SIOR designations and is also the incoming 2026 global president of the CCIM Institute, according to a statement from CBRE.

He has closed nearly 1,000 transactions throughout his career, encompassing both sales and lease deals, including a major $92.5 million industrial sale in Fort Myers and one of the largest build-to-suit industrial leases in Tampa's history.

“My clients aren’t just looking for brokers, they want strategic partners who see around corners, protect their capital and unlock opportunities. CBRE is the ideal home to make that happen at scale,” said Palmer in the statement. He added that CBRE provides him with a “broader platform, deeper resources and a truly global reach.”

Palmer previously served as a principal and managing director for LQ Commercial Real Estate Services, leading his former employer’s expansion throughout Florida. His transition to CBRE comes as brokerages across the southwest Florida and Tampa Bay areas recruit top talent.

Earlier this week, Cushman & Wakefield hired Brent Miller, a 24-year industry veteran, as a managing director. And in June, Bill Reeves left JLL to join Colliers as a managing director. Earlier this year, CBRE brought on Scott Garlick as an executive vice president at the firm’s Tampa office.

“Adam brings unmatched transactional experience, strategic vision and market intelligence to our growing presence in Southwest Florida. His ability to anticipate trends, decode market shifts and protect client wealth will strengthen our team and our capabilities across Florida,” said Mike DiBlasi, senior managing director and the North Florida market lead for CBRE, in the statement.
