Betz-Vais spent almost five years at Helaba, prior to which he was a vice president in Wachovia’s real estate structured finance team. He has had stints at Saint Paul’s Asset Management, where he worked with Maitland Bruce, as well as Eurohypo and Hypo Real Estate.
