JLL boosts Indianapolis teams, Stream Realty opens LA office; Colliers adds New York retail broker

JLL boosted its Indianapolis team, adding Tom Hadley as an executive vice president and Sam Garvin as a senior associate on the firm’s office leasing advisory and sales team. Matt McGrady joined them as an executive vice president on the industrial brokerage team. The trio previously worked at Colliers.

Hadley has over 30 years of experience spanning tenant representation, agency leasing and global corporate account management. He and Garvin will focus on building a dedicated tenant representation team serving regional and multimarket office clients, JLL said. McGrady, an 18-year veteran, will focus on tenant representation, landlord agency leasing and investment sales across the Indianapolis metropolitan area and nationwide.

Jarret Horst joined Avison Young’s Washington, D.C., office as a principal and project management lead for its national healthcare platform and mid-Atlantic region. The dual role means Horst will work to strengthen and expand the firm’s project management service lines across the region and advance its national healthcare project management platform, Avison Young said. Horst, who has nearly 20 years of commercial real estate and construction experience, most recently served as a senior director at Cushman & Wakefield, where he led the Baltimore project and development services division.

Sarah Cafaro joined Colliers as a senior vice president and retail capital markets broker in the real estate services firm’s New York office. In her new role, she will expand the company’s retail investment sales platform and drive collaboration across service lines to better service clients, Colliers said. She brings over 20 years of experience to the position.

Transwestern added an eight-person debt and equity placement team based in Houston.

Led by Tom Melody and Tom Fish as executive managing directors, the team includes Paul House, executive managing director; John Melody, Wes Wallace and Drew Van Norman, senior vice presidents; Hallie Caspary, vice president, Ben Enos, associate, and Tara Soyal, administrative assistant.

New York- and West Palm Beach, Florida-based private equity real estate group HighBrook Investors appointed Claiborne Johnston as a partner. He is tasked with leading the firm’s fundraising, capital formation and investor relations efforts as the company expands throughout the U.S. and Europe, HighBrook said.

Stream Realty Partners expanded its California presence with the opening of a new Los Angeles office led by former Avison Young brokers Jonathan Larsen as executive vice chairman and Chandler Larsen as managing director. Joining them is Sally Zesut and Eric Moore as senior vice presidents; Luke Eskigian as a vice president and Sebastian Bernt as an associate. The broader team includes Austin Cassidy, a senior analyst, Arianna Nienow as the group’s marketing specialist, and Yolanda Gerardo, senior brokerage coordinator.

Chicago’s Core Industrial Realty brought on AJ Smith as the group’s newest broker. He joins the firm after having completed his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He begins his industrial brokerage career focusing on DuPage County and the Interstate 88 submarket.
