£180m sale of Southbank Tower agreed

Hermes Real Estate and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board have agreed a deal to forward-purchase the South Bank Tower, with CIT retained as the developer, for £180m.

Chris Taylor, chief executive at Hermes Real Estate, this morning confirmed that contracts had been exchanged to buy the property, formerly known as King’s Reach Tower, and a price of £180m agreed.
