Royal Mint Court sale agreed

Terms have been agreed to sell the loan secured against the long leasehold interest in the 460,000 sq ft former home of the Royal Mint in the City of London for nearly £20m over the asking price.

A note to the stock exchange said an offer of £49.5m had been accepted for the Royal Mint Court loan way over the £30m guided for the long leasehold titles of the development. Contracts have been exchanged and the deal is expected to complete before 11 July.
